You can currently read my eight-part essay series “Fairy Stories and Atonement” at Wayfare Magazine. After an introduction, the series features six different fairy stories—such as Snow White, The Selfish Giant, and Tam Lin—and an essay analyzing what each fairy tale can teach us about different mechanisms of Atonement—such as Restoration, Radical Love, and Reconciliation.
